A Lament

There are days I think I'm strong,

Then, moments when I feel all wrong.

I wander places, lost and torn,

Where I feel alone, though I’m not worn.

You gave me all the very best,

Yet still, I ache in this unrest.

I never thought the pain would grow,

The emptiness, the endless woe.

I miss you more than words can say,

Not having you is my price to pay.

I long for guidance, your loving hand,

But I face this world without your stand.

Life’s a path we each must tread,

Yet I still long for the words you said.

When I crave the comfort only you gave,

And feel so lost, like I'm not brave.

A decade’s passed, yet you’re still gone,

I try to heal but can't move on.

Dear Father, without your guiding light,

I'm lost in shadows, void of flight.

They speak of you, your noble grace,

But no one truly takes your place.

Their words hold pride yet feel so hollow,

For in their hearts, where do you follow?

"I loathe the tales they choose to weave,

The hollow words that still deceive.

You were the truth I held so near,

But in your absence, all feels unclear."

Though time moves on, it’s never right,

Without you here, I lose the fight.

Your absence, Father, leaves a hole,

In every corner of my soul.

Good Morning

You can always grab at least SOMETHING without leaving your goodness. Because EVERYTHING is not always worth it. .

Friendship: The Bond That Stays

I know I'm not alone, How far you have gone. This separation took away a lot, Our laughs, long talks, now I don't spot. I was never insecure, even now, though, We have always been in each other's company. We are not the balloons that disappear, We are the lamps for roads to appear. In silence or storm, I’ll stand near, With open arms and a listening ear. You don’t have to ask, just show the sign— I am all yours, and you are mine. No distance can dim what we’ve made bright, A bond that holds through darkest night. So if ever you're lost or feeling small, Call on me—I'll give my all.

Moving with Faith

God writes in lines I cannot read, But I believe He knows my need. Still, faith without a step is air— I have to move, I have to dare.
